My take on coaching
Based on mutual trust, coaching has always been a goal-oriented process decisively shaped by clients.
With appreciative communication at its heart, coaching is inextricably linked to empathy, active listening, and the focus on clients‘ strengths. However, by challenging clients to think outside the box, the coaching process triggers reflection and, ultimately, the setting of new goals. To make clients see the bigger picture, light is shed on details from their past, present, and even their future.
The clients‘ personal strengths, elicited before, are key to the personal development triggered in the coaching process. This approach enables clients not only to define the next steps on their agenda of development but also to materialise them in the future.
